Health tip: Benefits of arm swinging (even when sitting down) - 平甩功

Arm swinging is one of the exercises from qigong, a simple but very effective exercise that can improve your health and may just help you treat your illness.

Swinging your arm for half an hour a day for a complete exercise, if not,

  • 10 minutes will help your circulation for the day,
  • another 10 minutes will activate your internal organs, 
  • the next 10 minutes will treat your sickness. 

Of course you may swing your arms for more than half an hour a day.

If for any reason you cannot do the arm swinging standing, you may do it sitting down.

My 2 cents:
I have been feeling tired after lunch, so I started to do the arm swinging for 10 minutes. What a change! After a few days of swinging, I do not feel tired anymore. Even if I wanted to nap, I could not. Nowadays I do 20 minutes each time almost everyday, 30 minutes if I can.
