Oats have a type of fibre called beta glucan, which has been found to help maintain healthy cholesterol levels.

Add hot water to 2 tablespoons of oats (preferably bland) in a cup daily and you are good to a healthy cholesterol level.

You grow taller in your sleep

Children grow most during deep sleep, which is the only time when the body releases plentiful quantities of Human Growth Hormone.

During sleep, we usually pass through five phases of sleep: stages 1, 2, 3, 4, and REM (rapid eye movement) sleep and the cycle repeats from stage 1.

Stages 1 & 2 are light, stages 3 & 4 are deep. REM is where we dream.

During REM, we become temporarily paralysed. Some children experience bedwetting, night terrors, or sleepwalking. Our heart rate increases, our blood pressure rises, and males develop penile erections.
