Why are young sportsmen going bald?

The sportsmen have a body fat percentage (BFP) to follow. Some sportsmen are considered fat if this ratio is high. So to prevent this, most of them do not eat fats.

What is in your head?

60% of the solid weight of your brain is fat. DHA (omega-3) accounts for 40% of the polyunsaturated fatty acids in the brain, and 60% in the retina of the eye. That is why nowadays milk powder with DHA are very expensive as manufactureres know DHA makes a smart baby.

Food for all organs in your head is mostly fats. If you deprive your head of fats, you will not think straight. That is why people get dementia, mind not working as fast as before, grey or no hair and bad eyesight.

As you can see, the hair is just like a plant. If you do not water your plant, it will die. Same for your hair. If you do not have good fats in the head, your hair will fall. So eat more food constantly with good fats like coconut, salmon, sesame seeds, etc.

What about grey hair?

Hair turns white is because they are short of melanin, the black color.

A way of making your hair black or regrow new hair is to do fingernails rubbing or Balayam.

Doing the exercise worked for some but remember that exercising alone is not enough. Diet is also important for your hair growth.

Black vinegar is a popular condiment in the Asian cuisine, used in sushi and a wide array of other dishes.

Unlike colorless vinegar in widespread use for cooking, black vinegar is drunk daily in small quantities for health benefits as it was only recently that black vinegar’s healthful effects were scientifically demonstrated.

Why cancer of the pancreas is so deadly

In Singapore, pancreas cancer ranks as the fifth and sixth most common cause of cancer death among men and women respectively.

The pancreas is an organ that secretes digestive enzymes and other hormones such as insulin to regulate the body.

The cancer’s initial silent symptoms and aggressive biological behaviour mean it is often too late by the time it is discovered.

As the cancer advances, patients may develop yellowing of the eyes, tea-coloured urine and pale stools, unexplained weight loss and pain.

While it may be possible for a person to live without a fully functional pancreas, “it is the spread of the cancer to other vital organs that causes organ failure, and eventual death”, said Dr David Tai, a consultant medical oncologist at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, who added that the most common site of spread is the liver.
