Easy ways to go green

Adopt these habits into your life to reduce your carbon footprint.

1. Save water

Do not let the tap water running while you brush teeth or soaping your hands or body when bathing.

2. Save electricity

Turn off the lights when not in use. Electronic devices in standby mode are using electricity too. Switch them off!

Use LED lights as they do not emit mercury and use less electricity.

3. Reduce waste

  • Instead of buying bottled water, bring your own water flask when outdoors.
  • Bring your own reusable bag when doing marketing.
  • Bring your own container when buying food from your neighbourhood eateries.

4. Reuse, reduce and recycle

Give away your unwanted belongings to charitable organisations or shop at flea markets.
