Singapore is the 7th least corrupt country in the world

Singapore has moved up a rank to become the 7th least corrupt country in the world, according to a global index. It is the only Asian country that is consistently in the top 10 ranking.


The Republic scored 84 points in the 2016 Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index, which measures the perceived levels of public sector corruption globally. A total of 176 countries and territories were surveyed in the 2016 index.
